March 17, 2016 Cedar Creek Lake fishing report


Water stained; 60–63 degrees; 0.24′ high as reported by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Black bass are good on swimjigs, squarebill crankbaits and Texas rigged craws. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.

The Texas Water Development Board says Cedar Creek Lake water levels have remained at 100% since the recent rains began.

To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters
