April 7, 2016 Fishing Report on Cedar Creek Lake

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has reported that the water in Cedar Creek is stained; 63–66 degrees; 0.02′ low. Black bass are fair on swimjigs, squarebill crankbaits and Texas rigged soft plastics near docks and shallow cover. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are slow on trotlines

Water Data for Texas reported water levels in Cedar Creek Lake have been at or near 100% for the past few months.

To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters
