OH MY, THANKSGIVING DAY is 20 Days Away!!!!

That was my reaction when I opened my email this morning, and saw the morning Pinterest alert “Hi! Harbor Light Villas! DIY Thanksgiving Decorations; Easy Pumpkin Recipes”.

I scrolled through all the pins, my logic is “The Easier, The Better.”

I came across this Easy, Peasy Candle Centerpiece idea, and thought to myself…I can use various sizes of  vases, votive holders. Even wineglasses, tie the raffia on the stem of the wine glass and wa-la! A little extra touch, toss some fall colored leaves on a charger plate, a wooden tray to set the vases, votive holders and/or wineglasses on. Maybe add a decorative gourd, a mini pumpkin. OMG, there is so many ideas running through mind! Ok, I’m pumped up. I know what I’ll be doing this weekend!

Below is the link for my inspiration, check it out! There are so many “Simple & Creative” ideas. I know you too will be Inspired to Add the Warm, Cozy Feel of Fall to your Lake Home. And/or the last minute touches before your guest arrive for the Scrumptious Thanksgiving Feast!

Whether Your Dream Home is Buying a New Home, or Building a Custom Home, it’s an Exciting Undertaking, it takes Time, Thought, and last but the least, it takes Energy.

“Where should we build?”

According to a blog: How to Find the Perfect Lot for Your Dream; posted June 15th by Marina Limited Partnership.

They suggest starting with your ideal neighborhood, whereas most people would start with location.

“Why?” (One may ask.) Their explanation really makes sense. A person can decide on a town, or better yet A Lake, but then if the neighborhood is not a good fit, then is it Really Your Dream Home?

Next, determine what you want your neighborhood to look like.

The Internal Revenue Service has issued guidelines for keeping records of your gifts to charity. Their newswire issued this week details requirements for obtaining receipts, determining value of donated vehicles, and ensuring charitable organizations are eligible for a tax deduction. The IRS also reminds taxpayers that they must itemize deductions of the Form 1040 Schedule A in order to claim gifts to charity. Filing a 1040A or 1040EZ will not afford you that opportunity.

The Internal Revenue Service has reminded tax preparers and agents to keep their clients informed of methods used by scam artists to obtain private information. The latest variation involves con artists posing as IRS agents calling to verify information from a tax return, or demanding payment on a fake tax bill.

The IRS reminds taxpayers that they never call about taxes owed without first having mailed you several bills. Also, they will never demand immediate payment over the phone, call or email to verify your identity by asking for personal information, or require you to use a specific payment for your taxes.

For more information and steps to take if you are contacted by someone impersonating an IRS agent, see the IRS consumer alert.
